Jitendra Chauhan College of Law was set up in the year 1977 and has a rich history of achievements and growth in terms of rendering quality education and giving out to the society alumni who have made their mark among the legal fraternity. The College's rich educational program strives to create a diverse and talented pool of students who can meet the challenges of a demanding legal careers whether as advocates, counsellors, planners or policy makers.
The College organises various legal and non-legal Competitions like moot court, client counselling, model parliament, elocution, negotiation and mediation to enhance ability of students by providing them exposure to practical aspects of legal profession. It invites eminent judges and legal professionals to judge these competitions.
In order to meet the demands of a rapidly changing legal and professional environment and to strike a balance between practical and theoretical learning, the college encourages and trains students to participate in various regional, national, and international competitions, organizes visits to jails, courts, and seminars / workshops on contemporary legal topics. The College also tries to seek suitable career opportunities for its students and provides assistance for campus recruitment and internships with top law firms, corporates and counsels.

The college library has a vast collection of books and journals along with subscription to renowned online databases like Manupatra, HeinOnline, JStor, Economic and Political Weekly, etc.
