JCCL amid the lockdown organized Lex Connect 2020, a first of its kind National Level Online Law Festival on the theme “Environment & Lockdown” on 5th, 6th and 7th June, 2020. The organizing committee of Lex Connect consisted of Assistant Professors Sushma Mhaske, Navanitha Warrier, Sneha Anil Kumar, Poorva Dighe and student volunteers.

The event was conducted with a two-fold objective of enabling law students for effectively utilizing the lockdown by engaging in online legal competitions, and for generating awareness on environment, as well as social issues that emerged from the lockdown. The three-day event comprised of Debate, Extempore (Minute to Win It), PIL drafting, Poster & video making competitions. Lex Connect received participation from nearly 59 law colleges from across India.
