National Voters Day

Objective of event: Offering students a detailed session to encourage voting and as the young voters of the nation take part in the political process of the country.
Note of the event: The event started with a welcome speech. Later a small presentation was made to the students regarding the Voter’s Day which helped each student understand the importance of the celebration. The event made each person attending understand the importance of electoral process. They discussed the importance of fundamental right to vote. As we know future of a republic is in the hands of the voters and the fundamental rights of Indian voters are enshrined in the Constitution that also enumerates the responsibilities that voters need to consider before and after casting their votes, the same message was conveyed to each one present. Later after discussing the importance of the day, everyone read the pledge aloud together and sang our national anthem and showed respect for the event.
